A Realistic Cleaning Routine in 2016

As 2015 draws to a close, reflections over the past year are natural.  This final post for 2015 reflects a small sampling of the content in some of our top posts from the year.  Here is a compilation of green cleaning helps that were beneficial to our readership…

Preliminary steps set a right foundation in which effective habits can flourish; margin is gained, and stress is minimized.  All of these combined help make you a more energized and effective person not only with your business but also with your home!

                      GOALS                                         ORGANIZATION                                    SIMPLICITY

Key #1:  GOALS—What works well for you?  What does not and you need to do differently?
Set realistic, attainable goals that move you out of draining, unproductive cycles and up toward more energy and margin!

Key #2:  ORGANIZATION—"A place for everything and everything in its place."
Being an organized person will save you time and energy on a daily basis!  Being organized can cut your weekly green cleaning in half!  The constant picking up of things that are out-of-place adds unnecessary time to the cleaning process.

Key #3:  SIMPLICITY—Simplicity breathes!
Protect your time--from overbooking and overcommitting.

Protect your health—using 100% all-natural cleaning products protects many of your bodily systems from possible toxins found in standard cleaners.
Using 100% all-natural green cleaners also saves time while cleaning, simply because you do not have to follow up with rinsing surfaces to rid them of toxic residues left from the cleaners.

Protect your space (from clutter).  Clutter drains time—time you could spend doing things that you enjoy.
Clutter drains you mentally.  Walking into a room that is cluttered immediately drains mental capacity to relax, or concentrate. Many students, of all ages, have a harder time studying when there is clutter in the room they are trying to study in.  Clutter is a mental distraction.

As you personally reflect on 2015, let the good and the bad help to shape your 2016!  When creating your 2016 green cleaning routine, allow it to flow out of the three keys:  goals, organization, and simplicity.  Doing so will inevitably result in realistic, attainable outcomes that you have been desiring!

Here's to your success in 2016!
