Holiday Must Haves-- Generosity!

You have heard the saying, "It is better to give than to receive."

 

If that is true--how can you put it into practice this holiday season?

 

 

 

How much of your financial resources can you give to a needy family/charity?

How much of your time can you give to someone in need?  An elderly neighbor may be very blessed by you for dropping in for a chat.

How many needy children can you bless with a Christmas present?

                     
Encourage your children to give up one of their desired "gifts" to "gift" a needy child in your community. Consider adopting a family this holiday season (give a gift for each family member).

What do we value the most?

--material possessions?

--relationships?

--other?

Let's teach our children what is most important in life and what should be truly valued!

Take an evening in the next couple of weeks and sit down as a family to begin planning how you can give generously over the holidays!
